Having problems with your Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8900 Notebook ?

The Top Two Corners of my laptop

\015 I have had my laptop since Feb 2009 and the top corners have small pieces that have broken off. The computer is not rough housed with, but have noticed that when I have taken it in and out of the case more often that a store rep recommended that I buy to keep it protected the problem has occured. I have the 2yr PREM NB repair but I am wondering if the case/bag that I use to protect it is just going to cause the same problem again. Any ideas on what to do?\015

Hello.

In less than a year, your laptop should not have broken pieces, no matter what protective case you use. Unless you have mishandled, which you have not, the corners should be intact. The fact that you use a case and the pieces have broken, is even more significant to me. You should be able to take the laptop out of the case daily or many times daily without problems. The laptop is faulty.

Since your laptop is still under warranty, contact Toshiba repair. They should at least replace the chassis, where it is broken (if I am understanding you correctly).

Hope this helps.
