\015 I am having a serious problem with my laptop. It started awhile ago, when I tried to turn on my laptop and noticed that when I did, it would start to turn on for a split second, but then turn off. Following that, the light that's usually blue when my laptop is plugged in (with the power cord symbol; sorry I can't be more specific) would flash orange eratically. \015\012\015\012Usually, if I took out the battery and put it back in, then tried again, it would work. After awhile, it took longer for it to start working (sometimes I'd take out the battery 15 times or something). But normally, it would start working eventually. Additionally, I'm not having any problems with my laptop otherwise (slow running, freezing, shutting down inconsistently, etc.) except that if I put it on standby, sometimes I have the same problem trying to get it back on.\015\012\015\012Recently, I noticed that I would put the battery in and, without even pressing the power button, the light would start flashing. If that happens, I can't turn my laptop on at all. If I vary plugging in my laptop and putting in the battery, I can still get my laptop to work (as in, I'm typing on it now), but I'm getting worried that one of these times, I won't be able to turn it on.\015\012\015\012If someone could please give me some advice as to what this problem could be, I'd be extremely grateful. I'm going to take it in to a tech place on Monday, but I'd like to have some idea of what's wrong so that I don't have to send my laptop away for three weeks or something. (I'm a student, so being without my laptop is a big problem.)\015\012\015\012Sorry for typing so much, but I wanted to give as many details as I could. Thanks a ton. :)\015
Most likely you experience a laptop overheating problem and it would be fixed by cleaning the cooling module – the heat sink and the fan. The notebook\015\012processor produces a lot of heat when the notebook is turned on. The\015\012cooling module helps to keep the CPU cool when the laptop is working.\015\012The cooling module includes two parts: the heat sink and the cooling\015\012fan. The heat sink is attached to the CPU and helps to conduct the heat\015\012from the processor to the radiator. The cooling fan blows on the\015\012radiator and helps to disperse the heat produced by the CPU. The laptop\015\012will overheat if the heat sink radiator is clogged with lint and dust\015\012or if the cooling fan stopped spinning.
\015\012If your laptop shuts down after some time without any reason and\015\012warning, check if the cooling fan spins. Usually it makes some noise\015\012and you can hear it. If the fan works fine, then check if the heatsink\015\012is clogged. In some cases you can clean the heat sink with compressed\015\012air, just blow inside the fan openings on the laptop bottom. If the\015\012heatsink is completely clogged, then it is necessary to remove the\015\012heatsink for cleaning.
Don't worry just take it to the technician he will solve it out if my solution doesnot work..
