I HAVE A TOSHIBA SATELLITE A2215- S7422..I CHANGED THE FAN ON CAUSE IT WASN'T RUNNING CORRECTLY AND IT STARTED UP AND WHEN I CHANGED THE FAN IT TURNED ON THEN SHUT OFF THEN I GOT IT DIGNOSED AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE MOTHERBOARD NOW THE BLLUE LIGHT IS ON AND IT'S CHARGING I THINK IF THE MOTHERBOARD IS DAMAGED IT WOULDN'T CHARGE OR EVEN ATTEPT TO TURN ON SO WHAT DO YOU THINK

Answers :

Hi:
\015\012The charging light can come on, even if the motherboard is bad.
\015\012I would suspect that possibly something was not assembled properly when you changed the fan. One thing to try is to take the laptop back apart, and remvove the heatsink/ fan assembly again, and make sure your CPU is properly installed, and that it is locked in place. Re apply heatsink compound and hope for improvement
