Having problems with your Toshiba Satellite 3005-S304 Notebook ?

Dim Screen I have a Toshiba Satellite 3005-S304 and the screen has become very dim. It has been a great computer until now. If you hold a light to the screen you can see the computer is operational. I have done some research on this problem and found in other models it is an inverter board but nothing on thid model. If it is an inverter board, how difficult is it to replace?

Inverters are really very easy to replace, with most laptops.,,you remove the front bezel plastic which surrounds the lcd screen,,and you will find the inverter near the bottom of the screen near the center, also you can remove the power button cover just below the screen but on the laptop itself , because it may be located there.
