Having problems with your Samsung Syncmaster 730B 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor ?

\015 I dropped my monitor one day.when i turned it on after that i noticed two vertical lines across the screen about an inch thick each.the first one is usually a white colour but would sometimes change to a different colour.the second one is always black.there's no crack on the screen.i've changed vga cable,i've tested cables within the monitor and there are no breaks.i need some help\015

The other thing you could try is taking apart the monitor and receding the video on the back of the panel.
I have the same thing on mine. It turns out its a sort of burn-in. If you leave a window in the same position all day then change the screen to a blank colour you can see the outlines of the window still on screen for about 8 hours until it fades away.
