\015 Recently iv been leaving my laptop on overnight etc when i came to use it yesterday a blue screen appeared asking boot sequence i think that dissapeared and now it stars up but just stays on a blank screen with a flashing dash (-)in the top left corner i need help!!!thanks\015

I’d the same problem, the HD was busted. I replaced the dammed Samsung HD 40GB (only 2 years use) by a Hitachi Travelstar 60 GB, and the notebook is back from the dead. I used the windows pack that comes with the notebook on the recover. A 100% data loss from the old HD.
