Computer satelite speaker dead... How do you open up the satelite to get inside???
\015 I have Logitech THX Z2300 speakers, one of the satelite speakers died on me and I would like to get inside to see if I can fix it, but there are no screws on the speaker to open it up, I was hoping there is some way of getting the satelite opened up or any other alternative solutions to getting the satelite speaker fixed (possibly somewhere, where i can buy a single satelite speaker)??? Thanx, any input would be helpful, Thanks again.\015\012\015\012Kyle\015
Hey, Thanks Jeremy, the rubber screws plan helped me out a ton. I did actually end up buying a new set (exactly the same) before I saw this solution. Funny enough, once I got into the speaker I disconnected the wires and reattached/sautered the wires back on; and they work better then when they were brand new, (sadly i tried prying onpen the case before i saw the solution, so the casing is all biten up). But anyways, now i have two sets working like new, i hook them both up to my computer and it sounds DEADLY!!! Thanks for the help guys...\015\012\015\012 Kyle
I had this problem as well, I finally figured out that the rubber plugs that allow you to remove the dust cover are able to be pulled off. Get a pair of plyers and just yank em out, which will reveal 4 discreetly placed screws :). I am having somewhat of the same problem you are however, and opening the speakers up did no good for me, the wiring seemed fine but I still get a rattling or complete silence whenever I exceed a certain volume. Let me know if you manage to find anything out and if you solve the problem, I'd like to try it so I don't have to try to find a replacement satellite.\015\012\015\012Jeremy

I am working on an HP Pavillion a1220n Desktop and I am getting different bootups each time. First we had a visual (video), but when we enter bios, the computer would not freze up, but simply just reboot itsself, and it would reboot everytime by itsself, no matter where you were at from 15-20 seconds after booting up. So I removed the CPU/FAN and Heatsync and they were covered with dust, I cleaned the dust off, and plug it back in, and now when I turn it on, the fans are running in the back, b

My Dell Dimension E510 is making a "whirring" noise. It whirls loudly when I turn it on, like something inside is struggling to get up to speed. The computer takes more time than usual to become operable and open programs. Then with the computer on, the "whirring" comes and goes, it is more quite, but more uneven. Sounds like it's going fast sometimes, then speeds up and back and forth. I've opened the computer and cleaned the dust out of it. That didn't help. HELP. VHS
So what could make "whirring" sounds in a computer? Motors. What has motors? Fans, Hard Disc Drives, Floppy Drives and CD/DVD ROM Drives. I can't think of anything else. It doesn't sound like a CD/DVD/Floppy drive because you would only hear the nois ... Dell Dimension E510 PC Desktop
