Having problems with your Logitech X-530 5.1 Channel Speaker System Computer Speakers ?

Volume control on the master speaker

\015 The volume control on my master speaker has unfortunately snapped off after falling off my shelf. It has broken away from the connections inside the speaker, and really would like some advice as to what to do, can i replace the specific parts and fix the volume control. Alternatively can I buy a new speaker separately to the rest of the set. I emailed the technical/product support division of Logitech and gained no further insight into my situation. Your advice on the matter would be greately appriciated\015\012\015\012Thanking you in anticipation \015\012\015\012Alex Bristow.\015

If its a rotory type control simply take the rest out or off the pcb if you can and on the side of almost any varable resistor or pot is a value. Look to see if radio shack has that value or check your local electronic parts supply house and solder back into place But you may not get the exact one as they all have differant mechanical standards as the shaft may be too long or it may not fit on the pcb so you will have to drill into the cabinet and mount where theres nothing in the way and hook the wires to the control from where the old control was. Hope this helps good luck
