Having problems with your LG Computer Monitors ?

I have a LG 17

\015 I have just purchased a LG 17"Flatron Monitor L1718s - , when I create a circle on my graphics program"Adobe Photoshop", it ends up oval, how is this happening?? I am guessing it is the monitors fault, because the circle was created before buying this monitor. The monitor I had before was a NEC Multisync 75( about ten years old ), help! \015
