Insignia PC speakers - give a weird static feedback noise

\015 Intermittently when on the computer the speakers will give out a loud, static/feedback noise for a few seconds...any ideas?\015\012\015\012Additionally, I am getting a similar noise from my cordless phone? Is my house haunted or what?\015

Answers :

I'm going to vote for the haunted option.

\015\012Sound like you have some noise on your power lines. This can be caused from many different things. Normaly it is a motor going bad or a compressor starting up. From the AC unit or refrigerator.
\015\012
\015\012See if you can correspond the noise to anything else happening in the house. Fridge starting up, AC or heat cycling on...etc.
\015\012
\015\012It may be that you just have speakers and a cordless phone going bad at the same time.
