Having problems with your HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook ?

Green Blob and Fading to White

\015 I have an HP dv6000. It is relatively new, about 5 months old. I have been having a problem with the LCD screen lately. I will be using the laptop, just perfectly fine, and all of a sudden the screen will become all jubbled, and horizontal lines will shoot across the sceen. It is impossible to use when the screen goes like this. Under these conditions, if it goes back to the log in home page where it's suppose to be a sky blue color, the screen displays big green blobs. With these blobs, if you are unactive on the laptop the screen will then fade to a white color before the screen savor turns on. Can you help me at all? Thanks alot, Dave.\015

Hi, i understand ur problem and try to the following steps. Shut down the NB and turn it on and repeatedly tap F10 key until you see a blue screen and then tap F9 key once and load the bios defaults. Wait for some time and check if u can see the lines and the green blobs. If u still see the same on the screen, it means that there is some problem with the mother board. If u have still warranty left on the laptop, contact the technical support of HP so that they will take the laptop for service. This will definitely work
