\015 Hello, we recently bought a new computer and now we are trying to do a system recovery on the old one so that it can be passed down through the family. When we put the recovery disk in and shut the computer off, then wait thirty seconds and turn it back on, we get an error message that says the recovery information is for an hp pavillion, if this message is appearing on an hp pavilion, please contact HP support. We contacted them and they wouldn't help us because the computer is not on warranty anymore. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to do a complete system recovery on a HP Pavilion a1253w desktop computer to restore the computer back to factory settings, deleting everything on the Hard Drive.
