You need to check the power cord, borrow, beg or steal one to test. If the laptop does not charge with a different power cord then the problem is elsewhere eg. a faulty power pack or even a faulty connector that plugs into the laptop (borrow a multi-meter to check the voltage of your power pack), also borrow a power pack to test your laptop, before you buy or send it away for a quote/repair.

\015\012If you determine that the laptop is faulty, then the cost of replacing a motherboard would not be worth it, even if you found one, it would most likely be a second hand one and how would you know it works, also if you are not technically minded you will it difficult to swap motherboards and it may not work when you put it together.
