Gateway Chicony Webcam Graph Render Fail?
\015 I have a Gateway M7818u running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit Edition.I have installed the latest Driver, and the Camera Assistant Software which was downloaded from Gateway.com. I have already tried to manually select the driver from the installation folder, and I have Already tried updating with windows update. I've also repaired the installation, but that didn't work. I even downloaded the latest direct X. Nothing works and gateway is just saying a bunch of things that I've already tried, and they treat you like you're stupid.Have Any Ideas?\015

There is a book, a friend of mine bought a copy and basically is a Vista 64 problem. It will not allow you to use unsigned drivers without typing in a line of code. It has so much useful data and allows you to tweak Vista just the way you want it and unlock features Microsoft doesn;t even tell you about. The info on the book is below. I'll try to get my hands on a copy and post your solution. Do check the book out, it's probably available through your local library. Here's that info:

Try uninstalling the device totally using computer manager. Right click on computer in the start window. After uninstalling the device you can use the manufacturer .exe to install it again.. or just search for hardware changes and it should find it ... PC Laptops
