I have an emachine T2984 that won't boot. No noise of any kind. I had another emachine T2625 that was working. I took the power supply out of the T2984 (that wouldn't boot) and put it in the T2625 and it worked. Can I assume that rules out a faulty power supply? However, now when I put the original power supply back in the T2625, it now does not boot up. The power supply seems to work, but I get a "no signal" message on the monitor. Any suggestions?
Power supply sounds fine. If the pc won't power up it could be your motherboard. If the pc is powering up and you get a 'no signal' on your monitor it could be your gpu. ... E-Machines eMachines Refurbished EMA SYSTEM BOARD MODEL T2984 eMachines (102257) PC Desktop
