Having problems with your E-Machines eMachines Monitor E15T4 ?

The contrast, degause, sizing' language and brightness menu keeps flashing on the screen with no apparent ability to stopp it or to exit from it. The monitor appears ready to go out. Is that correct or is there a remedy for this condition? My email is [email protected] for as long as the monitor holds out. At this time the menu remains nearly permanently fixed on the screen. Now it is flashing again. What's the problem?

When the leds are all flashing, that means that an internal fault had been detected, and the monitor went in protect mode, shutting down all higher voltages to prevent further damage.

Sometimes protect mode can be caused by a jammed PSU.

Try first disconnecting power cable for a couple of hours, to drain power completely and reset the unit.

If that does not work, then there is a fault.

In that case the monitor must be taken apart and tested or replaced.
