EMachines T3092 MoBo Layout

\015 I'm doing free work on a puter for a family in need. They say the unit was still working but started to smell hot so they shut it off. Two ears on the CPU heatsink/cooling fan bracket broke and let the assembly drop off the CPU and in the moving of the unit the assembly knocked three wire sets off mobo. I replaced the plastic bracket but now unit won't power up and I don't want to start randomly sticking plugs on sockets. The wire sets that are displaced all go to the front panel and are:\015\0121. The wires that go to the cardreader/firewire ports.\015\0122. The wires that go to the mic/earphone ports.\015\0123. The three plugs that go to front panel; H.D.D. LED (RED/WHITE wires), Power LED (GREEN/WHITE wires) and Power Switch (BLACK/WHITE wires).\015\012Does anyone have a layout of mobo or can help me with wire placement on mobo?\015\012Thanks in advance,\015\012Dave\015

I have an emachine lap top I got back in 2005. Everything was working when the other day my computer just shut off. I checked the power cord and there was a tiny hole, but appeared to have power going through as there were sparks. I tried electrical tape for the hole just to see if that was the problem before I go buy another cord, but still the lap top does't turn on. Could it be a more serious problem?
