Having problems with your E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC ?

E-Machines 560 hi, Ive just got back from holiday and gone to turn on my desktop PC, its turned on alright but.. when the log in screen comes on and asks to click a user name, we click the only name we have on there. but it says logging on, then it brings up our desktop wallpaper as if its coming on normally, then 3 seconds later it logs itself off and goes bk to the log in screen, Could you please tell me what this problem could be? or how to resolve it?

Answers :

While it starts up from a power down, hit F8 and select safe mode.

Let the computer start up completely in this mode.

Once all is well and good, shut it down and reboot and see if the problem persists. If all is not well and good, a major file in your computer has been damaged, deleted or corrupted, and this can be commonly caused by:

A hard drive becoming defective
A virus
It was accidentally deleted by a user of your PC
