Having problems with your Dell OptiPlex GX60 (SFFDELL-C2G) PC Desktop ?

My OptiPlex GX60 is not recognizing its hard drive? Several weeks ago had to restore with install CD. On a restart, wouldn't load, report said no hard drive.

I purchased an inexpensive adapter that allows running hard drive outside of computer and then plug into USB drive to try and recover data. This allowed me to quickly determine the failed drive was truly unusable. The drive would not spin up, jammed. I tried a different drive that was functioning (checked with same adapter) and the computer booted right up.
