Answers :

Fan problem - on my d820 latitude i called dell about the overheating and constant fan useage. they sent me a new heatsink to put on. when i cracked open the laptop i found out the problem was that the design of the laptop had a fan blowing air across a coil type heat sink to cool the laptop and that coil looked like a dryer lint screen. to fix it, open your laptop to 180 degrees and pop off the plastic part where the power button is. you'll see in the upper right hand corner the copper heat sink and you should be able to clean the lint off.
I have the same problem.... im using the same laptop model and it just keeps on moving all around the screen. i tyoe using my fingers but it just kep on moving.
also, my internal mic is not working. i tried using external mic and they said all they can hear is a static sound...
