Battery indicator of my laptops flash green color then turn red

Answers :

Maybe your laptop is trying to say that the battery is dead. Maybe Dells do that after all. The laptop runs of AC power and gives some of it to charge the battery until it is full. It won't use the battery at all if it is full. That is why a laptop will run on AC power without the battery too.

Now, try removing the plug and start the laptop. Most probably it won't do anything except show those lights before it is completely gone.

Every electronic's battery (mostly Li-on) wears out slowly after a limit, or after careless usage. So, you need to replace your PC's battery. The time has come. Even your phone's battery is going to go out some or the other day.

I suggest you buy a battery (genuine Dell of course) from the company itself. Shop online or contact them. Otherwise some online stores like BestBuy and Amazon are good too.
If your laptop is older than 2 years than its definately at battery problem which do not able to give backup. so kindly replace the battery and if its not show than check wheather your battery is not loose fitted so if this is the situation you can fit it by putting some packing behind it.

I have a Dell D600 laptop and just put a brand new battery in it. However, the new battery is not charging and the battery light still flashes green 3 times and then flashes red once, then green 3 times, and then red once, on and on. I know that the battery is good because I just purchased it. I have tried several times to reseat the battery, however I can't get the laptop to recognize it and recharge it. What do you recommend?
