Sony VAIO VGN-FZ410E does not boot up. On power the laptop seems to go through normal sequence but the display remain white. The unit stays on with no display and reboots after several minutes. CTRL-Alt-Del sequence causes the laptop to attempt to re-boot but with no display. Putting a bootable cd in the drive shows a similar behaviou ie. nod display (screen reamins white). I actually have an HP Pavillion zd8000 where I need to install a new DVD "D" Drive.
