I have issues with my lap top (Dell inspiron) Vista operating system. It takes way to long to booth up. The internet takes forever to come up. The performance shows that most of the memory is being used up

\015\012If you are not currently running 2 GB of RAM, then that should be a priority. The 1501 Max is 2 GB and you can get a 2GB upgrade kit at Crucial.com for less than $50. Since the system uses system ram for video production, maxing the RAM is very important.

\015\012Also, check your hard free space. to work efffectively, windows needs at least 10 % of the hard drive free for windows system's use. Running disk cleanup should help. if not already running current antivirus and antispyware applications, that is also recommended.
Your probably running 512mb of RAM which is the base amount your laptop would of come with.

It would be recomended to upgrade the memory by another 512mb to 1gb to improve performance.

Also to increase performance, running a virus check, spyware check, defragging the HDD.
