\015\012Well, it sound like a bad cables connector, or dust in the IN connector on the sound card, you have to clean carefully with a special spray buy on Radio Shack or Comp-USA. it is for electrical parts (remember). or with a Qtip gently clean the inside connector. Another way is changing the cables for a gold plated connector if available. Good luck, if the sound roaring continue, may be is your power on the SUB of the speakers.
