Having problems with your Bose Companion 3 Computer Speakers ?

Bose Companion 5 Problems

\015 I purchased a Bose Companion 5 System in the US and it worked perfectly fine with my Laptop. Then I brought it back to Germany, bought an according converter (220V to 110V) and plugged it in again. The System detects and installs the Companion 5 like desired but NO sound at all is coming. Any help for this out there? Did I already destroy sth?\015
