Having problems with your Acer Aspire 5610-4648 Notebook ?

ACER ASPIRE 5620 PURCHASED RECENTLY. XP HOME HAD PROBLEMS AND DEALER AGREED THAT XP PRO WOULD BE A GOOD REPLACEMENT. I PURCHASED XP PRO ONLINE VIA AMAZON £250 ALTOGETHER. IT TURNS OUT THAT THE PRO VERSION IS A SERVER TYPE - DOES THIS CAUSE A PROBLEM IN NORMAL USE? THE OBVIOUS PROBLEM IS THAT I DID NOT REALISE THAT I SHOULD BACKUP THE DRIVERS BEFORE FORMATTING THE DRIVE AND INSTALLING XP PRO. SO, I MANAGED TO GET THE SP1 ON AND REALTEK AUDIO, BUT THE ATI MOBILITY X1300 WOULD NOT INSTALL. IT TOLD

That’s ok. Acer does provide all the drivers for XP Pro. Acer is a bit tougher getting to the right page. Click on the link provided to open;

In the next window click on Notebook. (Not Netbook).

Pick, Microsoft Windows XP Professional x32.
All the required drivers for your Aspire will be listed.
