Having problems with your PC Laptops ?

Screen Flashing My screen flashes constantly, seemingly whenever something loads a little. It turns black, and depending what I'm doing, comes back on within a second. When I'm typing, it seems to happen WAY more often. What could possibly be wrong? My computer is a Compaq Presario A900, but it doesn't seem to be an option.

Your power that connects to the monitor is lose. If you put\015\012it in all the way and it is still having problems... the prong on the cord or\015\012the monitor...(depends on the design) is lose and needs to be moved a little\015\012more out, creating a more stable power connection.
\015\012Let me guess.. is it flat screen monitor?

My Asus PG221 monitor suffers from frequent issues in which brightly coloured pixels randomly appear on the screen, then the screen will go black for a few seconds. Seemingly the only way of temporarily stopping them is leaving the monitor overnight then switching it on again, after which I get about 30 minutes usage before the problems begin again.
