Having problems with your PC Desktops ?

I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED w/ the inability of anyone to first figure out, then solve the following: Why when streaming a live/real-time visual or audio broadcast, the audio will randomly go silent; this happens intermittently, there's no pattern. Each time it happens, on the bottom row of opened programs, a temporary strip will pop up and temporarily read: "communicating" then numbers will appear as in a meter counting down seconds, however, in this case it always counts "upward", and each time

Answers :

The problem with streaming video/audio is that the protocol will take everything you have to throw at it. In order for it to work properly you will have to shut down everything except that one think. What it is doing is buffering. It downloads in chunks that it can cope with. Then it plays the chunk and then goes and gets some more. You may be better downloading the program/video (right click and choose save target as) and then playing it locally on your computer when it no longer has to stream from the internet. Streaming relies heavily on your bandwidth to the internet and the available processing power and memory on your computer.
