Having problems with your PC Desktops ?

When I turn the monitor on it goes into the sleep mode and I cant get it to turn on. What can I do to get it out of the sleep mode?

Hi,

The first thing you need to do is check the connections. Make sure your VGA/DVI is hooked up to your computer and vice versa.

If all of those check out, there could be a problem with either your video card or your monitor.

If possible, see if you can hook up a different monitor to your PC and see if that works. The other alternative is if your tower has both an onboard (built in) and video card, try the other VGA/DVI port.

If none of the above are possible, it's possible that either your monitor or video card are faulty.

But just to point out, it's usually the monitor that's having a problem rather than the video card.

Hope I was of help :)
RESTART THE SYS. AND GO TO SETUP SCREEN AND LOOK FOR SUSPEND TYPE, AND TURN IT TO S1(POS) FROM S3(EXG. AND THEN SAVE AND RESTART THE SYS. IT WILL RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

For the past week, when my Sceptre LCD monitor goes to sleep after inactivity, it won't restart immediately. The blue LED blinks every second or so; eventually, the screen begins to flash the display, and then a few minutes after that, will finally turn on. Sometimes the whole process takes five minutes, sometimes an hour. How can I fix this problem? (I can't find the documentation to say exactly what model this is; if that's important, I can look again.)
