Having problems with your Computer Monitors ?

Sceptre LCD Monitor

\015 Hi. I missing a power adapter that goes to my LCD Monitor and i cant find one online anywhere. It's a 12v 2.5a DC which i figured wouldnt be to hard to find but it appears as though no one carries them. I was wondering if its possible to somehow connect the LCD Monitor to the computers power supply. I know this sounds bold and probably stupid but i think there could be a possiblity.\015

Answers :

I did not have a power adapter for my lcd monitor but after 2 weeks of searching stores, internet and universal adapters I found the power adapter for my specific monitor on ebay. If that doesn't work I would suggest a universal power adapter.

I have a Sceptre x22 gamer that has been serving me well for about two years. A week ago I started having trouble getting the monitor to ''Wake Up'' after the computer goes to sleep or when rebooting. It has become so bad recently that I had to turn the monitor on and wait 15 minutes before it would start to display anything. I don't think it is an issue with the inputs as there is usually a blue display that comes up whether anything is plugged in or not. Usually you are able to switch modes wh

For the past week, when my Sceptre LCD monitor goes to sleep after inactivity, it won't restart immediately. The blue LED blinks every second or so; eventually, the screen begins to flash the display, and then a few minutes after that, will finally turn on. Occasionally, when I turn on my computer, my Sceptre X9G-NagaIV (Black) 19" LCD Monitor screen has a dark pinkish hue to it. Adjusting the monitor's controls don't help.
