You may want to connect a monitor to your laptop and then turn it on and see if anything appears on your monitor. This will let you know that everything else is working on your laptop. If something does appear then turn off your laptop, disconnect the monitor and then turn on your laptop. If nothing comes on your laptop display then more than likely something is wrong with your it and it may need to be serviced.

Also remember that as a temporary solution you can still use your monitor and a USB keyboard until you get your laptop

serivced.
