Having problems with your ViewSonic VX2235wm LCD Monitor ?

My viewsonic vx2235 has a blue light on but no picture at all. Can i still use this monitor? I really dont want to buy another one so i am hope that i can just replace a part cheaply. Theres power but no picture and i have tried it on severial computers.

Assuming your cable is good & your PC (video card) is properly functioning & everything is plugged in correctly,;
If\015\012the screen flickers a bit when you start it, then the problem may be in\015\012the power circuits. Open the back & look for burned components on\015\012the circuit board. (capacitors, fuses, resistors, transistors,\015\012whatever.)

If it does not flicker then the bulb is likely burned out.

The power seems to come on,. however the screen remains black for close to ten minutes as the blue power light blinks. After the ten minutes, the screen pops up and functions normally. Turning the monitor off then on yields the same result.
