FAN NOT COOLING - Toshiba Satellite U305-S5097 Notebook

Answers :

The overheating problem can be caused by a faulty fan and or dust clogging the fan and heatsink assembly. If the fan does not spin freely then it is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the fan is OK then loosen the dust and vacuum the dust from the fan and heatsink.
Hi..

\015\012Place the hand on the vent, if you can feel the blow it is not the fan.
\015\012Also check might be the vent is getting blocked.
