Having problems with your Toshiba Satellite M45-S165 Notebook ?

I keep getting a page_ fault_ in_ nonpaged_ area error message

\015 My Toshiba Satellite M45 notebook starts intermittenly. Mostly I get an error message or it freezes at the title page. It says if problem continue I should disable or remove recently installed soft/hardware,disable bios memory option such as caching or shadowing. Then it does a dump of physical memory. What does all of this mean? Where do I start? Do I need a new HDD?\015

Answers :

\015\012This could be a software and not a CMOS problem.
\015\012First format that HDD, take it off if you want to backup and format it if it has bad sectors then you need a new disk, as for the boot you need to restore defaults on the BIOS menu F2 or F12 should get you there.
\015\012After that problem should be solved, worst case scenario you need a new HDD, but it's quite easy to replace and in some cases you even haev a port with two screws with direct access.
