Having problems with your Toshiba Satellite 5005-S504 Notebook ?

Toshiba satellite 5005-S504 boots over and over and over non stop

Toshiba screen appears then Win XP screen appears then disappears and a screen full of text appears for\015\012about 1/4 second, then the process starts over again. This goes on until you pull the plug. I also cannot get into BIOS to change the boot\015\012to the CD-ROM so I can attempt a repair.\015

It sounds like the hard drive is dying. I had a computer do the same thing and it turned out to be the hard drive. You should still be able to access the bios though. Try hittind either delete or F1 as soon as your toshiba screen appears.
