Hello,

If you can solder you should be able to repair the unit. The problem in most likely bad capacitors in the power supply. If you go to our web site at:
www.ccl-la.com/monitor_repair.htm we have pictures of what to look for and replace. Just open the monitor back and get to the power board, replace any that look like the pictures and you should be back going. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we do offer a repair service contact me at [email protected] if you want us to do thhe work.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

For the past week, when my Sceptre LCD monitor goes to sleep after inactivity, it won't restart immediately. The blue LED blinks every second or so; eventually, the screen begins to flash the display, and then a few minutes after that, will finally turn on.
