Samsung R510 disabled keyboard and mouse with VISTA

\015 Same laptop (Samsung R510), same problem except i think my problem was a result of having plugged in a USB mouse!i think its a catch 22, the keyboard is disabled hence i cant get to the Fn F10 key to possibly re-enable the touchpad?the keyboard driver looks to be fine in device manager.the Synaptics touchpad driver is returning a error code (10) which is something like "cannot be started"i've tried:1. uninstalling both keyboard and mouse and rebooting to allow Vista to re-install, it installs but with problems.2. updated bios as per Samsung site, to no evail, same problemsthis is hopeless! :(if i plug in a USB mouse and keyboard, they work FINE...........\\HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!\015
