Having problems with your Proview PL19Wb Monitor ?

Picture comes on for a second and then turns black, but sound is still there.

Answers :

If you have another computer/laptop hook the monitor up to it just to make sure it still works.
If you have two video cards or two ports where you can plug in your monitor, try the other port.
When you turn the computer on keep pressing the F8 key. If the monitor is working you should be prompted to go into safe mode.
Once into safe mode right click on the desktop and select properties. Click on settings and see if two monitors appear. Choose the monitor you are connected to and select attach. Apply and OK. Restart the computer.
