Having problems with your Philips MMS 321 Computer Speakers ?

PC Speakers Buzz at Random Times

\015 Speakers emit a very loud and annoying buzzing sound at seemingly random times. The buzzing lasts from anywhere from 2-5 seconds and is followed by a crackilng and loss of sound from between 10-30 seconds, after which the sound comes back. I have not been able to attribute this to any particular application or action and have seen nothing suspicious in the logs. Sometimes it happens several times an hour, other times it may go weeks without any issues. I've been dealing with this for over a year and on two seperate machines, so it obviously has to do with some application. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? OS is Vista 64.\015\012\015
