Having problems with your Logitech X-540 Computer Speakers ?

Logitech speakers hissing only when headphones plugged in.

\015 I have some Logitech speakers, I don't know the exact model or anything but I plug them into my computer and everything is fine. I plug in my headphones and I hear a fuzzy hissing noise, how can I make that noise stop? Because the cord on my headphones isn't long enough to reach around to the back of my computer with the setup I have.\015

Answers :

Maybe one side of the cord isn't plugged in all the way, usually happens when i have part of my cord in. Have you tried to pull the cord out and slowly put it in until the fuzz starts?
Also if you have a wireless phone (or cell phone) near your speakers it can happen because your headphones might not have as much shielding
The headphone adaptors attach to your computer has a
loose connection. Use another headphone and try.

I just bought a logitech 5.1 x-540 for my uncle. It worked fine; but just last week, when my uncle turned on the speaker, there was no power (the green light on the speaker didn't turn on). I tried to plug the speaker in other wall sockets but the light wouldn't turn on. I've also tried to plug a headphone to the headphone jack on the speaker -> still no sound.

Could there be an electrical short in the speakers line?Could you return them for a refund? Also did the speakers come with the logitech computer system? Have the speaker system bench tested. Then go out and buy a new pair. ... Logitech X-540 Computer Speakers
