Having problems with your Lenovo ThinkCentre® A51 PC Desktop ?

System is not booting but only fan runs very fast & noisy

Answers :

Try the following steps I'm doing to fix such problem like that or maybe pin point the root cause of the problem or the reason it happened.

1. Try to disconnect all the connection at the back of your computer\015\012tower then press the power button of your computer for 15 seconds to\015\012drain the remaining power.

2. Reconnect only the power button\015\012and the monitor cable then turn it back on. (If the same thing happened\015\012go to step 4 if not go to step 3)

3. ( From step 2 ) If it\015\012turned back on, most probably the problem is one of the devices that\015\012you just disconnected is causing the problem. Try to reconnect then\015\012one-by-one and each time you connect them turn on your computer, let's\015\012check if it's gonna turn on or not, just proceed until you finish\015\012connecting all of the device or until you pin point the root cause of the issue.\015\012

4. (From step 2 ) If it didn't turn on, Open up your computer tower and reseat the video card, then turn on the computer

5.\015\012If still the same problem, remove your hard drive and turn on your\015\012computer, if it turned on, meaning that the hard drive might be the\015\012problem, if not, just put it back in

6. If still the same\015\012problem, remove the memories from your computer, if you have more than\015\012one memory installed remove them all, test the first memory to the 1st\015\012slot and to other slots one-by-one, see if it turned on. Test the\015\012second memory and so on, to the 1st slot and so on. Do it only with one\015\012memory testing each memory.

7. Reseat the power cord coming from the power supply, the 21 pin and also the small one that is plugged into your motherboard,

8. Reseat the CPU

9.\015\012If all of those things failed, most probably that the power supply is\015\012causing the problem. it's also possible that the motherboard is\015\012affected, I hope not.

The Gigabyte liquid cooling system's pump in my 3-year old pc from ABS is starting to make noises, there's no coolant flowing through the hoses, and the radiator fan on the outside of the chassis isn't spinning. The pump and its tank are model GH-WIU01 R and are now obsolete. Gigabyte says I should replace the pump and tank with a Galaxy 2 version. Does this sound legitimate, and does anyone have any experience changing out the pump and tank? It's awfully crowded inside that chassis!
