JBL encounter sub-woofer not working

\015 Hi, Have JBL encounter speakers for about 10 months ... Since the past week the sub woofer isn't giving any sound. Both the right and left channel speakers are working fine. Tried reinstalling the realtek driver but no change :( Can someone please suggest a remedy?\015
