Having problems with your JBL CREATURE II Computer Speakers ?

My subwoofer is making a buzzing noise

\015 My subwoofer is making sort of a low buzzing noise, which goes up and down as I turn the base up and down, but only when they are plugged into my computer. The sound is the same whether or not there is actually any sound coming from my computer, but when I unplug the computer to the speakers the noise comes back. I can plug in an ipod to the speakers and it works fine, so it is just my computer. If you know what the problem is that would be great. Thanks\015
