My IBM T23 Laptop screen keeps going off (hibernating or sleeping?)

What operating system you running? I assume XP. If you go to start > settings > control panel > Power options (I think). You can change the options on how long before the screen turns off and stuff in there. For the other problem just right click on your desktop, and click "Properties". Adjust the screen resolution there.

Toshiba a135 laptop screen goes blank during battery use. only way to recover is to put the laptop to sleep blinking orange, and then restart. This action keeps the screen on.
