Having problems with your IBM ThinkPad R50e Notebook ?

When I turn on my IBM Thinkpad r50e it has a blank screen. What should I do?

Answers :

Hi, \012This issue is clearly hardware and might be related to 3 part, Inverter card, LCD cable or LCD Panel.
If you are still entitled to warranty then this hardware failure is covered by the terms. You should have the 3 parts stated below replaced as it s a common issue with Thinkpads. \012
\012In case you are out of warranty cover you still can try to subscribe to a warranty extension, you can check on www.lenovo.com , otherwise you might want to order theses parts on a website such as ebay.
To swap the pieces requires quiet advanced skills as you have to take down the whole computer, obviously LCD Panel included. \012Unfortunalty this is hardware related, not much you can do...
I hope this help !\012Thanks and have a nice day !\012J -
