Excelling computer memory (RAM)

\015 My laptop only allows 512mb of RAM, which it has installed. How do I allow the computer to accept more RAM? What else do I need to upgrade? Thanks.\015

Answers :

If you really wanna increase the RAM level acceptance you have to upgrade *********** board. You can force more than 512mb RAM with your current system. You can use Vista in which you can connect external USB drives which can act as RAM (but only in Vista).
As of now, you can put more than 512mb RAM in your system.
If that is all the motherboard supports then there is nothing you can do short of replacing the motherboard. Most times it would be cheaper to just buy a new laptop than to try & replace the motherboard as usually with a newer board you would need different RAM and a new cpu as well. Sorry.
