Your windows has encountered some registry errors and might have been interfered with. run system recovery and us e the disc that came out with your pc . if you do not have it anymore, use an xp or vista to replace the operating system but make sure that you do not go for formatting so that you will not loose your work.

Try booting into Safe mode and uninstalling the application.

When you first start the machine continually tap the "F8" button. This will bring you to a screen where you will have several choices to start your machine. Choose "Safe mode" (using the cursor keys on the keyboard). You can try "Last known good configuration" but it doesn't always work.

After choosing "Safe mode" it will then ask what operating system (just hit enter if you have only one).

Then a DOS like screen will come up (listing the drivers that will load). Wait several minutes (shouldn't take more then 2 minutes) and the machine will then go into safe mode. It may ask which profile to load, so just make sure to choose one with "admin rights".

You will then be in "safe mode". Don't be alarmed because everything will look strange (it only loads the basic drivers to start the machine).

Go to Control panel and uninstall your application.
