Having problems with your HP Compaq Presario SR1230NX (PJ518AA) PC Desktop ?

Same problem When I connect the green lead to the black lead the blinking light stops blinking and stays lit like it should be. But when I reconnect the PSU to the Motherboard the light on the PSU starts to blink once again. And the computer fails to start once again.

Answers :

I would try to replace the PSU and see if that makes your computer boot. Do like a guess and check. If its not the PSU, maybe try a new motherboard. Does the computer not boot, or does it beep when turned on? I hope this helps solve your problem
