Having problems with your Hannspree Hanns.G HW191D 19 inch Widescreen LCD Flat Panel Monitor ?

\015 HANNS-G. hw191d monitor - it is impossible to plug in earphones to the computer, as there is no other compartment of the monitor that allows you to plug in earphones to listen other than the "LINE IN" 'hole'. I cannot plug in the earphone to the LINE IN hole too(!!), as when i plug in the earphones to the LINE IN hole and remove the audio wire that connects the monitor to the CPU, the audio cannot be played AT ALL, not through the earphones OR the desktop. SO. what can i do? PLEASE HELP... is the only solution to connect speakers/usb audio adapter? and if so, how do you connect them to the computer then?\015

Hi, I hope you've solved the problem.  But if the first solution does not work for you maybe this one will.

I looked at the specs for your monitor. LINE IN is for plugging in a device that makes sound, so this is not the right hole (called a jack) for the headphones plug.  Look on the back of your computer for a hole that is outlined with light green.  You wrote that you removed " the audio wire that connects the monitor to the CPU", this would be the place to plug in the headphones.
