How to add memory to my pc gm5472 - Gateway GM5472 PC Desktop

Answers :

You need to open the case and see how many sticks of memory are in the slots. Your machine should come with 2GB. (probably 2 1-GB sticks)
If you are running a 32-bit system, it's useless to increase the memory above 3 GB, as the system will not see it. For a 64 bit system, you can add a lot more.

Go to the shop buy more. When you get back home open the side of the computer and replace with the new or add if you have enough slots.
